Affinity 2014 comes from “La Londe Vineyard” in Coombsville - Robert Craig owned the vineyard at the time. It’s 82% Cabernet Sauvignon with Petite Verdot, Merlot, Malbec and Cab Franc comprising the rest. Ageing: 60% new French oak, 40% once-used. 14.8% alcohol. Deep, rich and structured still, time has polished the edges while the wonderful dark berry/cherry flavors still hold center stage.

Eat Drink Cook's first road trip of 2026 is a drive to Calistoga and special tastings at LOLA Wines and Picayune Winery. Owner/winemaker Seth Cripe has put together a unique tasting for us at LOLA and includes a bottarga tasting to boot - all for $35/person - credit back with purchase.
Claire Weinkauf, Picayune owner/winemaker and ( are putting together a great wine lunch together for my members. Pricing and info coming soon.
